Ekol Lojistik A.Ş. was founded in 1990 and has implemented many successful shipping projects since its establishment, becoming a pioneer and leader in the shipping sector over the years. It is a 24-year-old logistics, i.e., shipping company. Ekol Lojistik achieved the highest level of its success in 2013. In 2013, Ro-Ro services were launched, and by obtaining AEO, i.e., Authorized Economic Operator - Authorized Consignor authorization and certificate from the Ministry of Customs and Trade, it also gained a say in exports. Also in 2013, Ekol Hungary was established, increasing the number of Ekol companies in Europe to eight. In 2013, it proved to be an environmentally friendly company by being awarded the Green Office Diploma by WWF Turkey. In 2013, the company, with a total of 4,087 employees, and warehouses and depots exceeding 400,000 square meters, had a 2013 sales turnover of over 280 million euros.
Provides Logistics Services with Many Different Vehicles
Ekol Lojistik A.Ş.'s service areas also include rail transport. In rail transport, it demonstrates its environmentally friendly nature by saving 52,800 liters of diesel and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 102,400 kg with each round-trip train service, based on Euro 5 vehicle consumption values. Ekol Lojistik A.Ş. operates block train services between Istanbul and Europe every day, with a transit time of 6-7 days.
