China Visa Types and Required Application Documents
In the procedures carried out at Chinese visa centers, applicants are required to provide fingerprints (biometric data). An application should be made to the appropriate application center within the jurisdiction of the Istanbul Chinese Consulate General or the Ankara Chinese Embassy, according to the province of residence. When submitting biometric data on the appointment day, the submitted passport must have at least 6 months of validity and at least two blank visa pages. Additionally, Chinese visas and entry-exit stamps in old passports create a positive reference during the review process.
The correct determination of the visa category according to the purpose of travel directly affects the evaluation time and approval chance of the application.
