Turkey's Largest and First Aluminum Producer
Teknik Alüminyum A.Ş. is Turkey's first aluminum sheet producer and was founded in 1960. Today, it has a total staff of 276, of which 41 are engineers. It has its first factory and headquarters in Avcılar, Istanbul, and also a factory in Çorlu with an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons. Teknik Alüminyum received the award for the highest exporting company in the aluminum sector in 2013 at the ceremony organized by the Istanbul Mineral and Metal Exporters' Associations. In the same year, 52% of the total production was exported to 48 countries. The open area of the factory in Çorlu is 140,000 square meters, and the open area of the factory in Avcılar is 14,000 square meters. The production capacity of the factory in Çorlu is 100,000 tons per year, and the production capacity of the factory in Avcılar is 25,000 tons per year.
An Expert Organization in the Aluminum Sector
Teknik Alüminyum's products include aluminum flat rolled coil and strip manufacturing. The minimum thickness of the coil and strip aluminum is 0.20 mm, and the maximum thickness is 3.0 mm. The maximum outer diameter of the coil is 2.2 meters. The maximum coil weight is 15 tons. For packaging, protective paper, duralumin, or lumber is placed between the strips.
