The Development of Kulak İnşaat From 1943 to the Present
The Kulak family, the founder of Kulak İnşaat, has been in the construction sector since 1943. The company's first official construction project was the Gazipaşa-Antalya Governorship Building, which it built in 1974. Kulak İnşaat, with a history of over 60 years, has completed more than 40,000 apartment constructions with a total area of 4 million square meters during this period. The company's name was changed to Kulak İnşaat A.Ş. in 1985. Kulak İnşaat has projects completed and ongoing not only in Turkey but also in Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Oman, Afghanistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. The total number of employees worldwide and in Turkey is around 7,000.

Kulak İnşaat's affiliates are Gürüz Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Atakan Gıda ve İnşaat Sanayi A.Ş., and KLK Yapı A.Ş. Among its affiliates, KLK Yapı A.Ş. is constructing 44 villas in the elite and luxury class on an area of 110,000 square meters in the Valle Lacus project in Büyükçekmece, Istanbul. Each villa has 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms, and 2 large living rooms. Each villa also features an 11-square-meter indoor garden, and in its 2,000-square-meter outdoor garden, there is a heated swimming pool. Each villa has a gross usable area of 1050 square meters.
