Elsan Elektronik Sanayi was founded in Istanbul in 1978. The company first distinguished itself by producing electric generators with accumulators as an alternative to existing electric generators to solve the energy bottleneck and the implemented energy restrictions in Turkey during its founding years. In the early 1980s, it began providing consultancy services to major industrial organizations in Turkey. In the 2000s, it started producing metal detectors. The latest metal detector model features a special gold differentiation, a first in the world for detectors. The special electronic detectors produced by Elsan Elektronik are currently sold not only in Turkey but also abroad and are used in Bulgaria, Greece, Albania, Macedonia, Iran, Iraq, Syria, and Azerbaijan.
They Produce a Unique Product in the World
The Elsan Digital detector, among the products of Elsan Elektronik, is unique in the world with some of its features. 6 types of search heads can be attached to this equipment, and the search depth can vary between 4 and 9 meters depending on the attached head. The detector only gives an audible signal when gold is detected and does not signal for valueless metals. It can be adjusted to give different sounds for each metal, and visual discrimination can also be used.
