Unmissable Flavor Ezogelin Soup

Unmissable Flavor Ezogelin Soup

We don't know about you, but our team agrees on one thing: Ezogelin soup is a soup inherited from our grandmothers! No restaurant, no neighbor aunt, no familiar cook, no cooking class, not even many mothers can cook this soup like our grandmothers. We know we're being very assertive. If you wish, try making this soup yourself and see if you can measure up to your grandmother's? Getting the spices as right as the ingredients in Ezogelin soup is a skill, an art; don't say we didn't tell you. We'd like to let you in on our elders' recipe. Here is the magnificent Ezogelin soup recipe.

Ingredients for Ezogelin Soup:

  • 1 cup red lentils
  • About 1 cup bulgur
  • About half a coffee cup of rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • About 7 cups of water
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • About 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon mint, red pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 2 cups
  • 1 cup water or broth according to your preference

Preparation:

Now we've come to the most enjoyable part, the preparation of Ezogelin soup. We recommend starting with peeling. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Then, melt the butter in a deep pot, add the chopped garlic and onions, and sauté until pink. Immediately after, add the lentils, bulgur, and rice, and stir for another 3-4 minutes as if sautéing. While the mixture is blending, add salt, black pepper, and water, and bring to a boil. While waiting for the Ezogelin soup to boil, heat the vegetable oil in a large pot. Add the flour to it and sauté until it gets colored. Then add the tomato paste and sauté for about a minute, then add all the spices and hot water, stirring until it thickens. When the contents of your other pots are cooked, slowly add the mixtures to each other in the large pot where you sautéed the flour, while continuously stirring. After boiling for one simmer, remove from heat. We've come to the most enjoyable part; put the pepper in the hot oil and then pour this mixture over the magnificent grandmother's soup in the pot and serve. In this winter season, why not make and drink this soup for healing, for flavor, and most importantly, to go back to the old days and remember them? Enjoy and be well.
