Enjoy Connecting to the Internet
Turkcell Superonline is the first and only telecom operator in Turkey to provide internet access at speeds up to 1000 Mbps to homes. Since its establishment, Turkcell Superonline has entered the global fiber internet league with its investments. According to the latest report prepared based on research by one of Europe's most important market research and consultancy firms, Turkcell Superonline's subscriber number of over 70,000 in fiber internet in 2011 placed Turkey third in the ranking of the top 5 European countries that year, surpassing Spain and the Netherlands. The total fiber optic cable infrastructure built by Turkcell Superonline since 2007 now exceeds 31,000 kilometers in 71 provinces.
Satellite Communication Infrastructure Has Now Been Added
Turkcell Superonline's latest internet access service, fiber internet, provides very high-speed broadband internet service through fiber optic cables. Fiber optic cables transmit information as light signals, not electrical signals, unlike copper cables, and transfer it from one point to another. Thus, more information is carried much faster and over much longer distances. In other words, the internet works at the speed of light with fiber optic cables.
